Job summary

Allianz Australia is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support the Finance division on steering, reporting, planning, and forecasting. The role involves applying actuarial methods, generating insights for internal stakeholders, and contributing to reporting processes and risk controls.

You will work in a hybrid environment with opportunities for development in a global, learning-focused culture, and exposure to IFRS 17 frameworks and general insurance insights.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related discipline.
• Working towards Actuarial Fellowship is beneficial.
• Exposure to general insurance is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial services to the Finance division for steering, reporting, planning and forecasting.
• Apply actuarial methodologies in ongoing analysis to support decision-making.
• Provide insights to internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of actuarial reporting processes, risk identification, and control operations.
• Support the ongoing production of business reports.
