Job summary

selectability is a not-for-profit charity focused on improving mental wellbeing and preventing suicide in regional Queensland. We are seeking an Acting Support Coordinator in Longreach to help participants navigate NDIS plans and coordinate services, with leave coverage from 9 November 2026 to 11 December 2026 in a casual capacity.

You will work directly with participants, families and service providers to ensure supports are effectively coordinated, enabling people to live their best lives in

Qualifications

• NDIS knowledge desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to best practice.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Ability to quickly engage consumers.
• Ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Support and empower participants to make their own life choices.
• Coordinate a variety of services to help participants live fulfilling lives in the community.
• Engage with key stakeholders (government agencies, providers and families) to leverage supports.
• Help participants strengthen their ability to coordinate their own supports.
