About the Role:

Based in Park Ridge SE Queensland, an opportunity has arisen for an engineering technician to join Palmer Acoustics and work with a team of dynamic and experienced engineering specialists.

This is a role that offers experience across all aspects of acoustics with a focus on field work. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about noise, sound, and environmental pollution and willing to work with data analysis and field testing. Testing includes floor tapping, wall transmission loss, sound levels and reverberation time.

An interest in computers, Instrumentation, Data Analysis, Modelling & Reporting is critical as it forms the basis of the role.

Your dedication, forward thinking approach, strong technical aptitude and customer focus will see you become an integral member of the team.

You will be required to provide support to the consultancy team for projects in SE Queensland.

Your skills and experience:

• Completed Grade 12 high school with high levels of achievement
• Exposure to computer systems, acoustics Instrumentation, Data Analysis, Modelling & Reporting.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear concise manner.
• Time management skills
• Interpersonal skills and customer focus.
• Motivated, committed, team focused, honest and loyal.
• A Driver’s License is essential
