The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is seeking a Business Analyst – Spectrum Management System (SMS) Project. You will partner with stakeholders, SMEs, developers and testers in an agile environment to shape digital solutions and deliver key project milestones.

You will gather and document requirements, translate them into functional specs and user stories, support process improvements, assist in testing, governance and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

About the role

As a Business Analyst – Spectrum Management System (SMS) Project, you will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, software developers, solution architects, testers and project leaders to understand business needs and help shape innovative digital solutions. The activities and responsibilities associated with this role are project-dependent and will continue until the completion of the project or achievement of key project deliverables.

Working in an agile environment, you will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements definition to testing, implementation and business adoption. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex business challenges and support the successful delivery of a high-profile government program.

• Requirements management capability, including eliciting, analysing, validating and documenting complex business and functional requirements.
