About the Role

In this pivotal position, you'll be at the heart of our acetylene operations, leading a talented team while ensuring we consistently deliver on our promise to customers through safe, efficient, and innovative plant operations. What You'll Be Doing

Your key responsibilities will span across leadership, operations, and continuous improvement:

Team Leadership & Procurement

• Lead, motivate, and manage the Yennora Acetylene Team with energy and purpose
• Ensure safe and efficient acetylene plant operation that meets and exceeds customer needs
• Maximise plant yield through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
• Minimise by-product disposal costs by identifying and nurturing relationships with external partners

Cylinder Handling & Packaging

• Oversee safe and efficient packaging processes including:
• Cylinder handling
• Inspection
• Testing
• Manage the processing, filling, and releasing of acetylene cylinders in line with Coregas procedures
• Champion Lean optimisation principles across all packaging operations

Technical Expertise

• Serve as Coregas's go-to technical expert for all acetylene-related matters across Australia and New Zealand
• Collaborate effectively with site stakeholders to maintain safe and efficient operations

Growth & Innovation

• Support the national growth of the TNNG offer by responding flexibly to evolving acetylene requirements
• Adapt plant operations to meet changing business needs with agility and confidence
• Develop and implement meaningful process improvements across:
• Production functions
• Transport functions
