Job summary

East Arnhem Regional Council is seeking two Accounts Receivable Officers to join the Finance team. You will manage end-to-end AR processes, issue invoices and statements, and monitor outstanding balances to support timely debt collection.

The role requires a relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a busy environment. A current NDIS Screening clearance and C Class Driver's Licence are required.

Qualifications

• Qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, business or related discipline or relevant experience.
• Experience in high-volume financial transaction processing in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, credits, receipts and AR transactions accurately and on time.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements.
• Allocate and reconcile customer payments to ensure account accuracy.
