Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer for a temporary assignment in a growing Melbourne finance team. You will handle daily banking, payment processing, credits and reconciliations while liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have AR experience, advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to juggle priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, credit checks and reconciliations.
• Immediately available or able to start promptly.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proven communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily banking and receipting activities.
• Processing and allocating payments.
• Completing bank reconciliations.
• Setting up and maintaining customer accounts.
• Conducting credit checks and assisting with credit limit reviews.
• Monitoring customer accounts and investigating discrepancies.
• Supporting reporting requirements and month-end activities.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding account queries.
