Museums Victoria is seeking a Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable to handle invoicing, reconciliations and customer enquiries. Based in Melbourne, you will ensure timely processing and reporting of financial transactions in line with compliance requirements.

The role involves using MS Dynamics GP, reconciling revenue with bank statements and supporting end-of-month debtor activities. A strong focus on customer service and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience processing, reconciling and reporting financial transactions in line with policies.
• Team player with the initiative to work independently.
• Experience with online finance systems and generating transactional reports.
• Ability to work methodically with manual and computerized records.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-focused finance and admin services to staff and external debtors.
• Process financial transactions using MS Dynamics GP, raise tax invoices and receipts.
• Perform daily reconciliations for admissions, revenue and online sales to bank statements and ledgers.
• Prepare and issue end-of-month debtor accounts, issue debtor letters, track payments.
• Respond to internal/external requests and provide transactional reports on account statuses.
