Our Town Fencing in Heatherbrae NSW is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to manage invoicing, debtor follow-up, and payment allocations while supporting stores. The role includes reconciliations and addressing customer queries, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely communication.

You will also assist with payments and supplier statements, and participate in a collaborative team culture with ongoing development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes including customer credit applications, debtor follow-up, payment allocation and customer rebates.
• Complete bank reconciliations and liaise with stores to resolve outstanding banking items.
• Provide support to stores, respond to queries, monitor store KPIs and follow up on old orders, missing deposits and unposted invoices.
• Liaise with customers to resolve account-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Reconcile company credit cards including fuel cards and Linkt accounts.
• Process Accounts Payable invoices and reconcile against supplier statements; create and maintain Purchase Orders.

We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team in Heatherbrae NSW.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including customer credit applications, debtor follow‑up, payment allocation, and customer rebates.
• Complete bank reconciliations and liaise with stores to resolve outstanding banking items.
• Provide support to stores, including responding to queries, monitoring store KPIs, and following up on old customer orders, missing deposits, and unposted invoices.
• Liaise with customers to resolve account‑related queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Reconcile company credit cards, including fuel cards and Linkt accounts.
• This role will also need to understand and at times complete aspects of the Accounts Payable role:
• Process Accounts Payable invoices and reconcile against supplier statements.
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders in line with purchasing requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable (preferred but not essential).
• Strong technical aptitude and confidence working with systems and digital tools.
• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Clear communication skills when dealing with customers, suppliers, and store teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up outstanding items promptly.
