Job summary

Our Town Fencing in Heatherbrae NSW is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. You will manage customer credit applications, debtor follow-up, payment allocations, and rebates, while supporting stores with queries and KPI monitoring.

You will also handle bank reconciliations, liaise with stores to resolve items, and assist with Accounts Payable tasks such as supplier invoices and Purchase Orders. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable (preferred but not essential).
• Strong technical aptitude and confidence working with systems and digital tools.
• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Clear communication skills when dealing with customers, suppliers, and store teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up outstanding items promptly.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including customer credit applications, debtor follow-up, payment allocation, and customer rebates.
• Complete bank reconciliations and liaise with stores to resolve outstanding banking items.
• Provide support to stores, including responding to queries, monitoring store KPIs, and following up on old customer orders, missing deposits, and unposted invoices.
• Liaise with customers to resolve account-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Reconcile company credit cards, including fuel cards and Linkt accounts.
• Process Accounts Payable invoices and reconcile against supplier statements.
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders in line with purchasing requirements.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including customer credit applications, debtor follow‑up, payment allocation, and customer rebates.

• Complete bank reconciliations and liaise with stores to resolve outstanding banking items.

• Provide support to stores, including responding to queries, monitoring store KPIs, and following up on old customer orders, missing deposits, and unposted invoices.

• Liaise with customers to resolve account‑related queries in a timely and professional manner.
