Job summary

Talentpath is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer in Brisbane to support billing, credits, refunds and compliance during a major transformation in the aged care sector. You will join a collaborative finance team across 26 facilities, handling high-volume transactions and ensuring accurate AR processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential aged care billing and accounts receivable processing.
• Process resident credits, refunds and account reconciliations.
• Complete daily refund processing within deadlines.
• Follow up residents and families for banking and payment details.
• Prepare reports on outstanding credits, balances and reconciliation items.
• Code and allocate aged care charges accurately and efficiently.
• Support compliance and reporting for the New Aged Care Act.
• Provide general finance administration and ad hoc team support.
• Maintain accurate records in a high-volume setting.

Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer

An exciting opportunity for an experienced aged care finance professional to join a large and established aged care provider during a critical period of change. Supporting billing, credits, refunds and compliance activities ahead of the New Aged Care Act, you'll play a key role within a collaborative finance team managing accounts across 26 facilities and approximately 3,000 residents.

About the role:

About you:

• Previous aged care finance experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of residential aged care billing processes.
• Experienced processing RAD, DAP, BDF and other resident accommodation charges.
• Strong understanding of credits, refunds, debits and reconciliations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Confident working independently and making informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills when dealing with residents, families and internal stakeholders.
• Experience with Epicor will be highly regarded.
