Job summary

Kia Australia is seeking an experienced Accountant to support our finance operations with accurate accounts payable processing, reporting and financial administration. In this role you will manage supplier invoices in SAP, perform reconciliations, assist with budgeting and contribute to monthly and quarterly management reports within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Proactive 'can-do' attitude with continuous improvement mindset.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• SAP experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Process payments in accordance with payment schedules.
• Verify and process supplier invoices within SAP.
• Maintain and update vendor records and databases.
• Ensure all weekly and monthly reporting deadlines are achieved.
• Prepare and review allocated balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with budget management and cost control activities.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting packs.
• Produce departmental cost centre reporting and analysis.
• Assist with annual budgeting and business planning activities.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as required.
• Participate in business process improvement initiatives and projects.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
