Job summary

Respect Aged Care is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team in Tasmania. You will manage supplier invoices, process payments and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely and accurate AP activities.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve discrepancies, support month-end processes and provide timely supplier communications.

Qualifications

• Experience with Accounts Payable processes and best practices.
• Excellent data entry skills and accuracy.
• Impeccable attention to detail and organisation.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review and verify supplier invoices.
• Code and enter invoices into accounting systems.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Post transactions to journals and ledgers; reconcile statements.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and audits.
