Job summary

Stuart Alexander & Co is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in Sydney. You will own the end-to-end AP process, focusing on debit notes, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies, while embedding the Provenio system into daily workflows.

The role requires an autonomous, detail‑oriented finance professional who can manage supplier relationships, issue resolution and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable, ideally handling end‑to‑end AP processes.
• Proven ability to reconcile accounts and manage discrepancies.
• Experience with debit notes, supplier deductions and claims.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, coding, approvals and payments.
• Prepare, process, track and reconcile debit notes and supplier claims.
• Investigate discrepancies and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to close issues.
• Embed and optimise the Provenio system within AP workflows and daily operations.
• Complete supplier reconciliations and support month-end reporting and accruals.
• Collaborate with Finance and wider business to resolve process issues.
