Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre seeks a detail‑driven Finance Officer to own day‑to‑day Accounts Payable, ensure accurate supplier transactions, payments and records, and uphold strong financial controls across the business.

You will report to the Management Accountant, support month‑end close, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise AP processes and governance.

Formación

• Experience in Accounts Payable and financial administration, with GST and internal controls
• Experience using finance or accounting systems and MS Office, especially Excel

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable process, including invoice review and coding
• Process supplier payments, EFTs, reimbursements and corporate card transactions
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve supplier invoice issues
• Reconcile supplier statements and monitor aged balances
• Support PO review and AP requirements across departments
• Maintain supplier master data and verify banking details
• Assist with AP month-end and year-end close
• Record asset movements and support depreciation/prepayments
• Build relationships with suppliers and drive AP process improvements
