RACQ in Brisbane is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to help keep payments running smoothly. You will process invoices and payments, work with teams across our business to resolve issues, and contribute to improving finance operations.

You will build experience in finance operations with accuracy and collaboration, handling aged payables and maintaining strong relationships with Group Finance and frontline teams.

About the role

Build your experience in finance operations as part of a team focused on accuracy, efficiency and collaboration.

In this role, you will:

• Process invoices and payments accurately and within agreed timeframes
• Partner with internal finance teams and the broader RACQ business to support understanding of financial processes
• Investigate and resolve aged payable transactions and member-impacting issues
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Group Finance and frontline teams
• Support process improvements and contribute to finance-related projects
• The hourly rate for this role is $38.29.

About you

• Experience working with data or transactions, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confidence using systems and following structured processes
• Strong communication skills with the ability to raise and escape issues where needed
