Job summary

Hypersonix is an Australian aerospace engineering company delivering hydrogen-powered scramjet aircraft. We seek an Accounts Payable Manager to own procure-to-pay and AP functions, driving automation and controls at scale.

You will lead supplier relationships, payment runs and ageing while collaborating with Procurement and Finance to optimise working capital in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma-level qualification in finance, accounting, business admin or related field.
• 5+ years accounts payable experience.
• Exposure to payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to pass security clearance/background checks.
• Right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoices, expenses and payments.
• Manage supplier relationships, onboarding, payment runs and AP ageing.
• Drive governance and controls across procure-to-pay and ensure PO compliance.
• Collaborate with Procurement and budget holders to improve P2P compliance.
• Assist in evaluating supplier payment terms and working capital opportunities.
• Support payroll processing as backup when required.
• Drive automation of reconciliation processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC.
