Job summary

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Penrith. The role would suit an Accounts Senior, Audit Senior or Accounts & Audit Semi Senior who is ACA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified.

80% Accounts / 20% Audit, with study support and flexible working. You will prepare statutory accounts, assist with audits, manage client relationships and support junior staff in a busy Penrith practice.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
• Previous UK accountancy practice experience.
• Strong accounts preparation and UK accounting standards knowledge.
• Some audit experience advantageous.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Prepare corporation tax computations.
• Assist with audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Manage client relationships and queries.
• Review junior team members' work.
• Work closely with Managers and Partners.
