Job summary

Fulton Hogan is hiring an Accounts Administrator for the Eastern Region Infrastructure Services Finance Team, based in Rydalmere, Sydney. You will support day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, procurement, and vendor management to ensure accurate records and compliant processes.

You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, partnering with project teams and suppliers. A relevant accounting qualification and ERP experience enhance your application; flexible working

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts administration or finance support roles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Excel and financial systems.
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
• Accounting/Finance qualification and/or construction industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process site and delivery dockets, supplier invoices and subcontractor claims.
• Manage purchase orders, amendments and accrual-related tasks.
• Coordinate weekly, 45-day and monthly payment runs and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements, subcontractor payments and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with end-of-month accruals, ledgers and ageing reports.
• Set up and maintain jobs, vendors, customers and subcontractor records in JDE.
• Produce financial reports and provide ad hoc analysis to the finance team.
• Build relationships with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors while maintaining confidentiality.
