Job summary

Our client is a well established South Australian commercial fit-out and construction business seeking an experienced Accountant for a flexible permanent part-time role (30 hours per week). You will own the finance function and provide financial reporting and commercial support to the business, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities include cash flow forecasting, management reporting, payroll, BAS and compliance, balance sheet reconciliations, and project costing.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accountant/Company Accountant or similar role.
• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
• Experience with payroll, BAS and compliance requirements.
• High attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and partner with stakeholders.
• Xero experience preferred.

An opportunity now exists for an experienced Accountant to join the team in a flexible permanent part-time capacity (30 hours per week). Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the finance function while providing valuable financial reporting and commercial support to the business.

About You

• Previous experience in an Accountant, Company Accountant, or similar role


• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge

• Ability to work autonomously and partner with stakeholders across the business


• Experience with Xero will be highly regarded
