Job summary

Rinaldi & Co is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Adelaide team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, deliver accounting, taxation and business advisory services, and work closely with Directors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years Australian Business Services experience, CA qualifications or studying, strong Xero skills, and a proactive, commercially minded approach in a supportive, modern boutique environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Australian Business Services experience within a practice environment.
• CA qualification or currently studying towards is preferred but not essential
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Australian Income Tax legislation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Preparation and/or Review of Financial Reports for all entity types
• Preparation and/or Review of Income Tax Returns for all entity types
• Preparation of other statutory compliance-related documents for clients as required
• Liaising with the statutory bodies on behalf of clients
• Provide client accounting software assistance and advice
• Preparation of ad-hoc reports and advice for clients
• Attend to tax and accounting planning and forecasting for clients
• Assisting junior staff when required
• Other duties as assigned and required

$90,000 – $110,000 (FTE) per year plus bonuses

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Working closely with your Team Manager and Directors, you’ll take an active role in managing a varied portfolio of clients, building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and takes pride in their work. You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas, collaborate with the wider team and take ownership of your portfolio rather than simply process the work in front of you.

Candidate

The candidate must have strong business development and technical skills with demonstrable knowledge in providing general and specific accounting, taxation, and business advice.

You will possess great time management skills, strong attention to detail, and will be able to monitor and meet your own client-imposed deadlines.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

Minimum 5 years of Australian Business Services experience within a practice environment

CA Qualified or Currently studying towards is preferredbut not essential

Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, Australian Income Tax legislation
