Job summary

GTH Group, based in Toowoomba, is seeking accountants to join our growing teams in accounting and SMSF services. You will prepare management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for entities including SMSFs and contribute to tax minimisation strategies.

Role offers flexible working arrangements (full-time, part-time, school-hour options) and opportunities for ongoing CPA/CA education, with a supportive team culture and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Public Practice accounting is essential for some roles; desirable for others.
• Undergraduate or CPA/CA qualification or current completion is desirable.
• Experience with Xero, BGL Simple Fund and Class.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for all entities including SMSFs.
• Develop and implement effective tax minimisation strategies.
• Provide day-to-day business and taxation advice.
• Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

What the work looks like?

Based on your experience your responsibilities could include:

• Preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for all entities including SMSFs
• Preparing effective tax structures, and the development and implementation of effective tax minimisation strategies
• Day to day business and taxation advice
• Liaising with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

These roles offer flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, and school-hour options, Monday to Friday.
