Job summary

RDO Equipment in Richlands, QLD, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Support Office. You will deliver accurate financial information, ensure compliance with Australian standards, and share expertise to strengthen the finance team across multiple businesses.

You’ll manage month-end processes, reporting, BAS/FBT, asset registers, budgeting support, and assist audits, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining compliance with GST and AASB standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CA/CPA qualification or progress toward it.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience.
• Experience in timely month-end provision and reporting.
• Understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and post end of month provision and accrual journals.
• Prepare end-of-month/year reporting and reconciliations.
• Produce financial reports for internal/external use.
• Prepare BAS and FBT returns.
• Maintain asset register and assist budgeting/forecasting.
• Support audit requests and review team work.
