Job summary

Kelly+Partners is looking for a vigilant Chartered Accounting professional to join our Inner West team in Sydney. You’ll work with experienced mentors, provide high-quality client service, and gradually take on more complex portfolios across individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
• CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience with platforms such as MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks, or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• A genuine desire to grow into a senior role within a supportive and high-performing team

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner.
• Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of entities.
• Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations.
• Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Help provide an exceptional service to our clients.
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
