Job summary

You will prepare budgets and forecasts for management, analyze variances, implement policies, manage cash flow, and maintain internal controls.

The role requires 1–3 years accounting experience and an accounting degree.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required, with 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience with audits and financial planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial statements for management.
• Analyse variances between actual and budget/forecast performance.
• Formulate and document accounting policies and standardising workflows.
• Manage cashflow and monitor operating costs in real time.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure statutory compliance.
• Conduct audits and advise on financial and taxation matters.
• Maintain strict financial controls and month/quarter/year-end reporting.
• Manage BAS, FBT and GST tax compliance.
• Maintain the company’s accounting system and upgrades.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis.
