Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a closely related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in an accounting or financial reporting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and general taxation requirements.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine and analyse financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports to reflect the company's financial position and performance.
• Maintain and review the company's accounting systems, general ledger and financial records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare periodic profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports and other financial reports for management.
• Analyse income, expenditure, operating costs and financial performance and report variances to management.

Education
