Job summary

Intouch ICT Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for ICT projects. The role requires strong Excel and ERP experience and knowledge of Australian accounting standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Prepare, inspect, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budgets, variance analysis, cash flow forecasts, and operational reporting.
• Conduct end-of-month GL reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and fixed asset maintenance.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring internal financial controls.
• Liaise with external auditors during end-of-year audits.

Job description

Required Qualifications & Experience

Financial Reporting: Prepare, inspect, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets, variance analysis, cash flow forecasts, and operational reporting to support ICT projects and business performance.

Reconciliations & Oversight: Conduct end-of-month general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and fixed asset register maintenance.

Financial Controls: Assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring internal financial controls and operational compliance procedures.

Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during end-of-year audit processes.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Education: A recognized Bachelor’s Degree (or higher qualification) in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.

Work Experience: Minimum 2 years in a relevant field.

Professional Membership: CA / CPA qualification (or actively progressing towards full membership) is highly regarded.

Software Proficiency: Hands-on proficiency with ERP/accounting software platforms (e.g., Xero, MYOB, NetSuite, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
