Job summary

Redpath Partners is seeking an Accountant to join a busy finance team in Canberra, offering broad exposure across property, assets and group accounting. The role covers month-end reporting, statutory filings and internal controls, with scope to develop commercial and technical accounting skills.

You'll work closely with the Finance Manager, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and have opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you grow your career in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with core accounting functions and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data handling.
• Proactive approach and ability to work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements.
• BAS, FBT, audit and other compliance requirements.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Asset accounting, CAPEX, property-related accounting and wider group accounting.
