Job summary

Redpath Partners is seeking an Accountant to join a busy finance team in Canberra, offering broad exposure across property, assets and group accounting. The role covers month-end reporting, statutory filings and internal controls, with scope to develop commercial and technical accounting skills.

You'll work closely with the Finance Manager, participate in budgeting and forecasting, and have opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you grow your career in a supportive environment.

The Role

This is a varied accounting position where you’ll be involved across:

• Month-end, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements


• BAS, FBT, audit and other compliance requirements


• Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support business decisions


• Asset accounting, CAPEX, property-related accounting and wider group accounting

You’ll also support the wider finance team across reporting, reconciliations and ad hoc projects, giving you exposure to different areas of the function and the opportunity to continue building your technical capability.

About You

We’re looking for an Accountant with experience across core accounting functions, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. You’ll be confident with Excel, comfortable working with stakeholders and keen to continue developing your career.
