Job summary

Golden Shore Products Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team in Sydney on a full-time basis. You will handle day-to-day accounting, accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, inventory, invoicing and payroll administration.

You will use QuickBooks/Xero/MYOB to maintain records, prepare reports and support budgeting and pricing analyses. The role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial record keeping.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero or MYOB.
• Experience with inventory accounting and reconciliation.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
• Prepare and process customer invoices, purchase orders, quotes and related financial documentation.
• Manage accounts receivable, including recording, allocating and reconciling customer payments.
• Process accounts payable transactions and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB).
• Monitor and reconcile inventory records, stock movements and balances.
• Assist with stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with the preparation of financial and management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, costing and pricing analysis.

Golden Shore Products Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the business, including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, invoicing, financial reporting and payroll administration.

Key responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.

Prepare and process customer invoices, purchase orders, quotes and related financial documentation.

Manage accounts receivable, including recording, allocating and reconciling customer payments.

Process accounts payable transactions and reconcile supplier accounts.

Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, including QuickBooks.

Monitor and reconcile inventory records, stock movements and inventory balances.

Assist with stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies and variances.

Assist with the preparation of financial and management reports.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, costing and pricing analysis.

Skills and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Experience with bank reconciliations and financial record keeping.

Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero or MYOB.
