The position will support the integrity of financial information and provide accounting, financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting support to management and senior finance personnel.Qualifications and experience* Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a closely related discipline with substantial accounting content. CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.* At least 3 years of full-time relevant professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis or a related professional accounting position.* Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.* Experience in preparing and analysing financial information and accounting reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.* Strong experience in cash-flow forecasting, financial analysis, balance-sheet reconciliations and internal financial controls.* Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Australian taxation requirements.* Experience in supporting external audits and preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate financial variances and identify significant trends.* Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling, data analysis and reporting; experience with Power Query and financial reporting/visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is desirable.* Experience in using an ERP system, preferably SAP.
