Moomoo ANZ is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Sydney. The role covers full-cycle accounting, BAS preparation, month-end closing, and financial reporting to support the company’s financial health.

You will process AP and payments, maintain accurate records, and collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Previous experience with Xero or Oracle is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Oracle) and advanced Excel for reporting.

Aufgaben

• Manage full cycle of accounts payable (AP).
• Prepare and lodge BAS accurately and on time.
• Perform month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support annual audit, company tax return and FBT processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems.
• Other Ad Hoc Duties as and when required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Oracle)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills (Mandarin/Cantonese a plus)
