Responsibilities

• Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, P&L and other reports.
• Assist clients with tax planning and advisory matters.
• Review financial information and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Work directly with clients to gather information and provide practical accounting and taxation advice.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with accounting standards and taxation legislation.
• Build strong and lasting relationships with clients.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding results.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a full-time Accountant to join our Moss Vale office.

This is a varied role where no two days are necessarily the same. You will work closely with clients and our team across a broad range of accounting and taxation matters, with plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience.

What you will be doing

• Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts
• Preparing financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports
• Assisting clients with tax planning and advisory matters
• Reviewing financial information and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes and efficiencies
• Working directly with clients to gather information and provide practical accounting and taxation advice
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and in accordance with relevant accounting standards and taxation legislation
• Building strong and lasting relationships with clients
• Working collaboratively with our team to deliver outstanding results
