Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking a talented Accountant to join our small team in a South Eastern suburb office on a full-time basis. You will prepare income tax returns, financial statements, bookkeeping, payroll processing and related work for a diverse range of individuals and business clients.

You will work with accounting software including Xero, MYOB and AO Practice, liaising with clients and the ATO to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and related workpapers.
• Ability to prepare and lodge BAS and IAS.
• Experience reconciling bank and other accounts.
• Liaising with clients and the ATO.
• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB and AO Practice software.
