Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking a capable Financial Accountant in Brisbane to manage month-end reporting, GL integrity, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations. You will partner with leadership to support budgeting and forecasting and drive compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in financial accounting, strong Excel and Xero skills, and the ability to communicate with non-financial stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/CPA or nearing completion.
• Minimum 3 years of financial accounting experience.
• Experience with payroll and statutory obligations.
• Knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting standards and compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
• Experience using Xero.
• Strong communication skills with non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate month-end financial reports and reconciliations.
