RSM Australia is seeking an accounting professional in Ballarat to go beyond the numbers and deliver high-quality financial reports.

You will manage records across assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax obligations, supporting clients’ compliance and smart decision-making in a dynamic environment.

Qualificações

• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
• Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
• Commenced (or intention to commence) CA or equivalent qualification

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards
• Apply knowledge of client, firm and industry trends and current issues
• Prepare clear, well‑structured work papers evidencing work performed
• Review financial statements and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Identify and assist in resolving accounting issues
• Apply basic tax compliance procedures
• Assist with tax planning activities for clients
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts
• Complete required regulatory forms accurately and on time
• Meet lodgment deadlines in line with lodgment program requirements
