Job summary

Westpac is seeking an Account Executive in Melbourne to support its emerging corporate banking team. You will work closely with a Relationship Director and Managers to assess credit submissions, structure deals, and provide financial analysis that informs tailored banking solutions for growing commercial clients.

Based in Melbourne/Naarm, Wurundjeri Country, you will join a collaborative team committed to developing your commercial banking expertise and making a meaningful impact from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial lending, business banking or a related financial services environment.
• Strong financial acumen with accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Strong analytical skills across cash flow, risk assessment and financial statement analysis.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach with energy, curiosity and a willingness to take on new challenges.

What’s the role?

As Bank of Melbourne transitions into Westpac, we're looking for an Account Executive to join our Emerging Corporate Banking team and help shape the future of banking for our commercial customers.

Working closely with a Relationship Director and Relationship Managers, you'll support a portfolio of emerging corporate clients through credit submissions, deal structuring, financial analysis and ongoing relationship support. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of businesses while helping deliver tailored banking solutions that support growth and long term success.

This is a full time opportunity based in Melbourne / Naarm, Wurundjeri Country. You'll join a collaborative and supportive team where you'll be encouraged to grow your skills, deepen your commercial banking expertise and make a meaningful impact from day one.
