Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking an Aboriginal Health Worker/Practitioner, Primary Care - PFT, based at Junee. The role focuses on culturally safe patient care for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people within the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.

Permanent full-time position with a clear pathway for AHPRA-registered practitioners; salary range $69,410.00 – $90,357.00 per annum plus superannuation. NSW driving and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• This is an identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
• Eligible to drive in NSW and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• As Aboriginal Health Practitioner, Primary Care, provide flexible, holistic, culturally sensitive health care.
• Collaborate with nursing, Integrated Care Service, Corrective Services NSW, and Aboriginal health organisations to ensure timely care.
