Job summary

TAFE NSW is seeking a dedicated Aboriginal Health teacher (Identified) to inspire students at Campbelltown or Nepean (Kingswood) Campus. You will deliver culturally safe, clinically focused education and help students become skilled Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners.

Travel across Western Sydney will be required. The role demands a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), current AHPRA registration, and teaching qualifications for VET.

Qualifications

• Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is required.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is required with current AHPRA registration.
• Evidence of teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).
• Min 3 years post-qualification experience relevant to healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning experiences and educational programs for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students.
• Teach Aboriginal Health content to build clinical skills and professional confidence.
• Travel across Western Sydney hospitals to respond to operational and community needs.
