Job summary

The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency Co Op – Frankston VIC is seeking a dedicated intake and short-term case management worker to support Aboriginal women, children and families in a culturally safe environment. You will provide a welcoming first response, identify immediate needs and help connect community members to services that strengthen wellbeing and family connections.

You bring a degree in social work (or equivalent) and at least two years in the Family Violence sector,

Qualifications

• Requires degree in social work (or willingness to work toward qualification).
• Minimum two years’ experience in Family Violence sector.
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check; Victorian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming first response and intake assessment.
• Identify immediate needs and develop short-term support plans.
• Coordinate connections to services to enhance wellbeing and safety.
• Maintain accurate case notes and work with a multidisciplinary team.
