Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency – Frankston VIC is seeking a dedicated professional to join The Orange Door Hub team. You will provide a welcoming first response, assess immediate needs, and connect Aboriginal families with services to strengthen wellbeing, safety and connections.

The role involves intake, assessment and short-term case management, building respectful relationships and coordinating with partner services to support Aboriginal people in challenging times.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work or willingness to work toward the qualification
• Minimum two years’ experience in Family Violence sector
• Valid Police Check and Victorian Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Victorian Driver Licence
• COVID-19 vaccination (strongly recommended)

Responsabilités

• Provide welcoming first response and short-term support.
• Identify immediate needs and connect community members with services.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for Aboriginal people.
• Develop support plans and maintain accurate case notes and records.
