Job summary

VACCA in Frankston, VIC is seeking a Permanet - Full Time role to support Aboriginal women, children and families through intake, assessment and short-term case management. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure culturally safe, trauma-informed support and positive outcomes.

You will engage with families to identify needs, develop support plans, and connect them to essential services, while maintaining thorough case notes and collaborating with partner services.

Qualifications

• Degree in social work or equivalent, or significant lived experience relevant to the work.
• Minimum two years’ experience in Family Violence sector.
• Valid Police Check, Victorian Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake, assessment and short-term case management for Aboriginal women, children, men and families.
• Develop support plans and connect clients with services to strengthen wellbeing, safety and family connections.
• Maintain accurate case notes and records; work with colleagues and partner services to achieve positive outcomes.
