Job summary
Pathway Talent is seeking an Aboriginal Caseworker to join the Supporting & Securing Tenancies (SST) program in Coffs Harbour. You will deliver culturally safe, person-centred support to individuals facing housing challenges and homelessness, helping them navigate services and maintain stable housing outcomes.
You will develop support plans, coordinate services with housing providers, advocate for clients, and empower communities.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Mental Health, Disability, Housing or related discipline.
- Current NSW Driver Licence.
- National Criminal History Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- Experience in case management, housing support, homelessness services, or related field.
- Ability to undertake community-based outreach and support activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide culturally safe, strengths-based and person-centred support to individuals experiencing housing challenges or homelessness.
- Develop support plans and coordinate services with clients, families, housing providers and other stakeholders.
- Advocate for clients and empower individuals to build confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with community services to achieve stable housing outcomes.
