Job summary

Embedded Expertise invites engineers to join a tier-1 infrastructure program working on 5G networks, where 5G NR, 5G Core and edge systems converge from design through deployment. You will contribute across architecture, integration, testing and optimisation of next-generation communications.

You will collaborate with experienced teams, suppliers and partners to resolve complex issues, perform lab and field testing, and develop engineering documentation and test plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications or related field.
• Experience in mobile telecommunications or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 5G NR, SA and 5G Core technologies.
• Experience with RAN architecture, configuration and optimisation.
• Strong IP networking knowledge.
• Experience in systems integration and network testing; troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Designing and integrating 4G/5G network solutions and architectures.
• Working across 5G RAN, 5G Core, transport and edge infrastructure.
• Developing network and system requirements and technical specifications.
• Supporting network planning, coverage, capacity and performance engineering.
• Configuring, integrating and troubleshooting network equipment and systems.
• Performing network and systems testing, including laboratory and field testing.
• Analysing network performance, logs, traces and protocol captures.
• Supporting end-to-end systems integration and interoperability activities.
• Working with suppliers and technology partners to resolve technical issues.
• Developing engineering documentation, test plans and technical reports.
• Supporting system assurance, resilience and cybersecurity activities.
• Contributing to technical reviews and engineering decision-making.
