Job summary

Embedded Expertise invites engineers to join a tier-1 infrastructure program working on 5G networks, where 5G NR, 5G Core and edge systems converge from design through deployment. You will contribute across architecture, integration, testing and optimisation of next-generation communications.

You will collaborate with experienced teams, suppliers and partners to resolve complex issues, perform lab and field testing, and develop engineering documentation and test plans.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications or related field.
• Experience in mobile telecommunications or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 5G NR, SA and 5G Core technologies.
• Experience with RAN architecture, configuration and optimisation.
• Strong IP networking knowledge.
• Experience in systems integration and network testing; troubleshooting.

Working with a tier 1 infrastructure giant, you will work on a complex, next-generation communications program where 5G technology, systems engineering and mission-critical communications come together. You will play a key role in the design, integration, testing and optimisation of advanced 5G network systems, working alongside experienced engineers, technology partners and specialist teams, and will contribute across the full systems lifecycle, from architecture and requirements through to integration, testing and deployment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and integrating 4G/5G network solutions and architectures.
• Working across 5G RAN, 5G Core, transport and edge infrastructure.
• Developing network and system requirements and technical specifications.

You will ideally have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in mobile telecommunications or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of 5G NR, 5G Standalone and 5G Core technologies.
• Experience with RAN architecture, configuration and optimisation.
• Strong IP networking and telecommunications knowledge.
• Experience in systems integration and network testing.The ability to troubleshoot complex network and systems issues.
• Experience working with technical standards and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
