Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Support Engineer to join a specialist CCxx/UDM team in Australia, focusing on 5G Core and Cloud Core services for NACI customers. You will manage complex incidents, drive rapid resolution, and work with product, project, service delivery and problem management to improve stability.

The role requires deep knowledge of 5G Core, UDM architecture, Diameter interfaces, and cloud-native platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience handling L2/L3 incidents in 5G/Cloud Core environments.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across product, project and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead L2/L3 investigations and drive resolution for 5G Core issues (UDM/CCxx Cloud Core).
• Own critical incident response, fault isolation and service restoration in live networks.
• Analyze logs, traces and performance data to identify root causes and prevent repeats.
• Collaborate with cross-domain teams to improve stability and resolve issues.
• Provide updates, guidance and RCA reports during high-priority incidents.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement in operations.
