Job summary

Australia's Leading Home Care Agency – Rye VIC is seeking a caring and energetic Educator to provide individualized care for a 10‑month‑old with developmental delays. The role involves engaging in sensory and outdoor activities and supporting a lively family with two older children during before/after school periods.

Flexibility in days and times is required; driving is a must, and you must have a valid car and driver's licence along with WWCC, Police Check and First Aid qualifications.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved qualifications and registration with state authority.
• Provide at least 3 references.
• WWCC, Police Check, CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid.
• Have a car and driver's licence.
• Be willing to commit for at least 12 months.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for a 10‑month‑old with developmental delays.
• Engage in developmentally appropriate play and learning activities.
• Conduct outdoor activities, including pram walks to the beach and parks.

Rate: $41.94 - $47.28 (L1-L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

This family would like:

Loving family is seeking a caring, energetic and nurturing Educator to provide individualised care for a 10 month old child who experiences developmental delays, with developmental abilities currently comparable to those of a three month old.
The child is highly social and enjoys connecting and engaging with others, so the family would love an Educator who is enthusiastic, attentive and genuinely motivated to build a meaningful connection through warm, responsive interactions and developmentally appropriate play.
The child has an inquisitive nature and loves spending time outdoors, particularly enjoying pram walks to the beach and nearby parks.
The ideal Educator will be proactive and creative in providing engaging sensory experiences and opportunities to explore the natural environment while supporting the child's individual developmental needs.
Two older siblings will also join care at times before and after school and during school holidays.
The family is looking for someone adaptable, confident and passionate about creating a positive, nurturing and engaging environment for all three children.

DRIVING REQUIRED

You must:

• Either be working towards or hold a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or other IHC relevant ACECQA approved qualifications e.g. Bachelor Primary Education and are registered with relevant state authority board.
• Provide at least 3 references.
• Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid
• Have a car & driver's licence
• Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
• Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example: visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
