Job summary

Melbourne’s Leading Nanny Agency is seeking a caring Educator to support a family with young twins and a lively four-year-old. The role involves following a relaxed daily routine of meals, bottles, naps, play and learning activities at the family home in NSW.

Driving is required and you should be comfortable managing varying ages and routines. Applicants should have 3+ references, WWCC and Police Check, CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid, plus a valid car and licence.

Qualifications

• Hold a Cert III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Registered with the relevant state authority; WWCC and Police Check preferred.
• CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Care for twins and a 4-year-old, managing multiple ages within family routine.

Rate: $41.94 - $47.28 (L1-L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)
3 or 4 days per week with children aged 4 years, 11 months & 11 months

Flex with days - Open to any days of the week really. Need at least 3-4 days 9-5pm.

Looking for a caring, nurturing and confident Educator to support a family with young twins and their energetic four-year-old. The twins will be the primary focus of care, with the four-year-old joining sessions at times around their pre-kinder routine.

The days will follow a relaxed routine of meals, bottles, naps, play and age-appropriate learning activities, with opportunities for craft, outdoor play and walks to the nearby park.

The family is looking for someone calm, cool and collected who has experience caring for multiple young children and is comfortable managing different ages and routines. They would love someone enthusiastic about activities who can keep things running calmly, even when the day doesn’t quite go to plan.

Due to an immunocompromised family member within the home, excellent personal hygiene and infection-control practices are particularly important. The ideal Educator will be attentive and conscientious, with an understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment within the family home.

DRIVING REQUIRED

• Either be working towards or hold a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care or other IHC relevant ACECQA approved qualifications e.g. Bachelor Primary Education and are registered with relevant state authority board.
• Provide at least 3 references.
• Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and HLTAID012 First Aid
• Have a car & drivers licence
• Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
• Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example: visa 190 or visa 186.
