Ironman 4x4 Wetherill Park seeks a motivated 4x4 Sales Specialist to join our brand-new flagship store in Sydney. You will help customers select 4WD accessories, design complete vehicle builds, and manage quotes, bookings and handovers, delivering an outstanding customer experience.

This role requires energy, initiative, and a passion for sales, with responsibilities spanning sales, workshop coordination and business development through local partnerships and events.

4x4 Sales Specialist – Ironman 4x4 Wetherill Park

Help us build Sydney’s newest Ironman 4x4 flagship store

Are you passionate about 4WDs, cars, camping and the outdoors? Do you enjoy sales, talking to customers and turning an idea into a complete vehicle build?

Ironman 4x4 Wetherill Park is opening soon — and we’re building our sales team from the ground up.

We are looking for motivated and customer-focused 4x4 Sales Specialists to join our brand-new flagship location.

This is an opportunity to come onboard from the beginning and be part of building the reputation, customer base and culture of our newest store.

You’ll be helping customers build everything from their first weekend 4WD through to fully equipped touring vehicles, trade vehicles, fleet builds and some seriously impressive 4x4s.

The Role

As a 4x4 Sales Specialist, you’ll be one of the main faces of Ironman 4x4 Wetherill Park.

Your role is about much more than selling individual products.

You'll work with customers to understand how they use their vehicle, what they want to achieve and what products best suit their needs and budget.

From the first conversation through to quoting, booking, fitment and final vehicle handover, you'll help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

• Assist customers with selecting the right 4WD accessories and solutions

• Design and quote complete vehicle builds

• Prepare quotes and actively follow up sales opportunities

• Convert enquiries into confirmed sales and workshop bookings

• Manage phone, email, online and showroom enquiries

• Process orders, invoices and customer payments

• Build long-term relationships with customers

• Ensure customers receive a professional experience from enquiry through to vehicle handover

• Achieve individual and store sales targets while maintaining healthy gross margins

Workshop & Job Coordination

• Book vehicles into the workshop and manage customer expectations

• Ensure required products and parts are available before scheduled fitment

• Communicate clearly with the workshop team regarding customer requirements

• Monitor jobs and keep customers informed of progress

• Assist with vehicle handovers and explain completed work

• Help resolve fitment, warranty and after-sales enquiries professionally

Business Development

• Build relationships with local dealerships, fleet customers, trade businesses and commercial customers

• Identify new sales opportunities within the local market

• Follow up existing customers and enquiries

• Participate in store events, promotional activities and product launches

• Help grow the Ironman 4x4 Wetherill Park customer base from day one

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with energy, initiative and a genuine desire to succeed in sales.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous retail, automotive or sales experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Confidence speaking with customers both face-to-face and over the phone

• The ability to identify customer needs and confidently close a sale

• Strong follow-up skills — we don't want quotes sitting forgotten in an inbox

• Good organisational and time-management skills

• Attention to detail when preparing quotes and orders

• Basic computer and point-of-sale skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• A current Australian driver's licence

• A positive, team-focused attitude

Experience within the 4WD, automotive, dealership, aftermarket accessory or outdoor industry will be highly regarded.

However, extensive 4WD knowledge isn't essential.

If you're a great salesperson with the right attitude, we can teach you the products.
