Job summary

Wings Construction in Victoria is offering a hands-on apprenticeship for a 3rd or 4th year carpentry apprentice. Projects are mainly around Glen Waverley, with opportunities to learn from qualified tradesmen in a supportive environment.

Successful applicants are physically capable, reliable, and eager to learn. Basic knowledge of hand tools and the ability to commute to sites are essential; driver licence and own car are preferred, and a white card is advantageous.

Job description

We are a small domestic building company looking to add a 3rd or 4th year apprentice to our team.

The majority of our projects are around the Glen Waverley area.

We specialise in all aspects of the building process including thecarpentry from framing, lock up, fixing and final fit off.

Excellent opportunity to join our crew and learn from qualified tradesmenin a supportive environment.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Be reliable and punctual
• Very keen to learn
• Have a basic knowledge of hand tools
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry and building
• Ability to get to and from work independently
